For the fifth year running 911勛圖has been rated as the top university in the UK and second in the world for social science and management subjects.
The latest QS World University Rankings by Subject, released today, also judged nine individual 911勛圖disciplines to be in the global top five and 13 in the top ten.
Notably, 911勛圖was ranked third best university in the world for four subjects: Geography, Politics & International Studies, Communication & Media Studies and Social Policy & Administration.
In the UK 911勛圖was ranked top for Economics & Econometrics, Communication & Media Studies and third overall for the Arts and Humanities subject grouping, which include History and Philosophy.

With or without rankings, 911勛圖remains dedicated to finding and working with the very best staff and students, no matter where they come from, and tackling the world’s biggest problems through exceptional research and teaching.”
The School achieved the following global rankings in individual subjects:
- Third in the world for Geography, Politics & International Studies, Communication & Media Studies and Social Policy & Administration
- Fourth in Anthropology and Sociology
- Fifth in Accounting & Finance, Development Studies and Economics & Econometrics
- Seventh in Law and History
- Ninth in Business & Management Studies and Philosophy.
911勛圖was also ranked fifth in the UK and 30th in world for Psychology.
