911³Ô¹Ïhas been ranked the top university in London and sixth in the world for Social Science and Management subjects in the  published today.

911³Ô¹Ïcame in the world top five in five subjects including Geography (2nd); Philosophy (2nd); Development Studies (3rd); Sociology (5th); and Politics and International Studies (5th).

In addition, the School was ranked in the world top ten for History (6th); Law (6th); Communications and Media Studies (6th); Social Policy and Administration (7th); Accounting and Finance (8th); and Economics and Econometrics (8th).

Published annually since 2011, the QS World University Rankings by Subject are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. The rankings use data from over 1,700 institutions.

Commenting on the news, LSE’s Vice President and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) Professor Susana Mourato said:

These new rankings are consistent with other recent league tables. In the autumn, 911³Ô¹Ïwas ranked the top university in the UK and named as the ‘University of the Year 2025’ by the .

It was also named the top university in London for the fifth consecutive year in the .
