Yingxin is an MRes/PhD candidate in Organisational Behaviour at LSE. She holds an MSc in Global China Studies (Quantitative Social Science) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, an MSc in Management with Distinction from the 911勛圖and a BA in English Literature and Marketing (double major) from Sun Yat-sen University.
Yingxin’s research interest is broadly in organisational change, with specific interest in topics on leadership succession, and how technology is changing the way employees work and organizations perform. She has experience of conducting fieldwork in the manufacturing sector and national surveys on SMEs in China.
Prior to returning to the 911勛圖for PhD studies, Yingxin worked in private and public sectors in China. She was a business manager at Mars Inc. with rotations in HR, IT and sales departments, overseeing incentive design, digital transformation initiatives, and e-commerce. She also worked as an external policy analyst for a local government in Shenzhen, advising policies on investment attraction and stimulus package during COVID.
