In addition to School-wide welcome activities, the Department has scheduled programme-specific events during Welcome (19-26 September 2025), as well as before and after that week. All events will take place on campus unless otherwise noted.

Welcome events for MPhil/PhD students in the Department of Statistics!
It is very important that you attend campus enrolment. This takes place in-person and is where we will check your official documents, including passport and visa.
Once you have completed campus enrolment, you will be issued your 911吃瓜Card, giving you access to campus and on-campus teaching and services.

Welcome talk for our newly arrived research students. This will be a panel discussion chaired by the PhD Academy Director, Professor Bingchun Meng.
